Hi Guys,
Well, I just defered all of them. I will have to start paying on some of them in June, but the federal loans are deferable under economic hardship for 3 years. Even without the fudge factor of only working 1/2 a year, we still qualified fo…
1. Second and third year were a toss-up for me. Second year because serious nobody really gives a rats ass if Klebsiella is a cocci or a rod. Third year, because I had reached my maximum sit in class time.
2. My advise to students is that you are g…

Hey Tori,
How are you? Sorry for not responding... I haven't been on this site in forever. We need to catch up. How is work going for you? Fern is starting at our practice next month so that's pretty exciting for us. Hope all is well... let's catch up soon...
Sorry Tori I am still learing how to fully use this site. I just noticed the comment you left for me a month ago. Andrea and I are sitting in McCarran airport in Las Vegas aka Lost Wages. I came down for a couple of days and had a good time but will be glad to be home. The clinic is good I love the other vets but time will tell whether or not I will stay. The practice is not progressive or ambitious enough for me. Two of the vets are near retirement so improvement to the facilities is definitly an uphill battle. The practice is 60% SA 30% bovine and 10% equine and a whole shit load of product sales which as an associate I have no part of. We are the only large animal vets probably a 150-200 mile radius in northeastern california making it very appealing to set out on my own. I hope things are going well and you are enjoying your job. I hope new contract negotiations will go well. Talk to you soon.
That is an awesome story about Marshall. I bet he is growing up quick. Our baby was born Dec 20th. I got to deliver him! He was 7lb 1 oz. He is currently doing pretty well. Starting to hold his own head up and smile more. Poor little bugger got stuck looking like his dad and has red hair. Doomed to a life of sun screen. Unfortunately Karle is not doing as well. She was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and thus has been doing with super painful joints and restricted motion. We are flying to Minnesota next wkend to get second opinions and further treatment options so keep us in your prayers. But we are in good spirits and happy in general:) Thank you for commenting, stay in touch here.
I'm getting better on the laparoscopic spays. They take me about 40 minutes, but it is like a game. They are fun! Did my first TPLO two weeks ago too. Dog is doing well. Other than that, we are a little slow here, which directly impacts my income, hmmmm. I'm glad we are connecting. Take care.
